The CNC Operations Technician II performs programing, set up, running and troubleshooting of CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities
Select tools and design fixtures to support the creation and modification of CNC programs
Write new CNC programs, setup instructions, estimate and make changes to existing CNC programs
Compute dimensions and tolerances, and measure work pieces
Study blueprints and work orders to determine product specifications
Set up and run the first part after completion of machine set up
Load up work pieces and set up CNC machine as per specifications
Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize the use of materials and equipment
Perform quality work checks to insure your machine is producing quality standards
