Gas Technician Job Overview:
Gas technicians will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas lines, gas appliances (such as boilers, water heaters, and cookers), and related equipment in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong focus on safety protocols and adherence to building codes and regulations related to gas installations.

Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair gas lines and appliances.
Diagnose and repair gas leaks.
Ensure installations comply with codes and regulations.
Educate customers on safe operation and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:
Proficiency in reading blueprints
Proficient with a wide variety of tools, materials, and equipment.
Knowledge of piping and ventilation systems.
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Be task-oriented and organized.
Troubleshoot issues on plumbing and heating systems in a timely and efficient manner.
Must be able to work independently and with others.
Proficient in basic math.
Good listening and communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills and patience.
