Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Technical Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mattress production machinery and engineering, with a particular focus on the sewing room. This role is essential for completing new machine designs, machine builds, and field service calls. The Technical Manager will collaborate closely with engineers, machine builders, and other technicians to deliver high-quality designs that align with project goals.

Responsibilities

R&D and design of new sewing machinery (~25%)
On-site customer service & installations (~25%)
In-office machine builds & refurbishments (~50%)
Experience

5+ years as a Lead Service Technician in the mattress industry
Expertise with: sergers, flangers, half cappers, label machines, border machines, handle machines and other equipment
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
Clean driving record and ability to travel up to 50%
CAD or engineering experience strongly preferred
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
